My kb-45 10XL has pretty much been sitting around since I got it. Still trying to figure out how to turn the shaft down to 5mm... I tried using a rubber strap wrench (apparently called grip wrench) and a plate that mounts to all four screw holes on the motor to see if I could unscrew the front endbell. I heard from a guy that it would be easy to do, but I couldn't get the endbell to unscrew (if I had forced it much harder the grip wrench probably would have snapped).

Then I soldered the motor up to my HV-110 that will run it, and plugged everything in including 10s2p A123. Revved it a bit. Now I'm thinking of just taking a file to the shaft. That is, unless anybody has any better ideas...
