Thanks sikeston for the pic. I'm guessing you never take your batts out to recharge them? Still that give me a good idea of the size of the cells. I'm really diggin' the motor setup you have!
Yea ClodMaxx, I knew they weren't gonna fit nicely, I just wanted to see the way others have it rigged up in their stock chassis's. I can't afford anymore upgrades at the moment (ie flm chassis). I just bought a second emaxx, and am soon gonna have more R/C's than batteries to run them. I'd like to get a few more of these DeWalt packs if I can get them to fit nicely in my stock chassis.
HERE is my old MAXX truck, it's the first pics of a maxx in the gallery, but it is an FLM chassis, doesn't help you much.
Do you already have two 5s packs made?

i did for a short while, but at the time i was planning to make a complete UE SuperMaxx truck, and a UE Lightning chassis kinda fell in my lap... so i sold the FLM chassis. the battery tray part of both chassis are the same dimensions - they are meant to hold 8 sxs ni-mh cells.
What motor controller are you using with your truck there? How is that outrunner working for you?
