Damn! Thats a hard friggen hit...real unfortunate. Repairing the window must have been an extra bite in the ass...

I wish I would have seen it. I think you mentioned it a couple times (I didn't know you were running 4S though - dang!).

The window my parents paid for (fortunately!). We have a $500 deductible on insurance, and I claimed the value of the X-Cellerator at $650, so I only got $150... but then $80 of that went towards the window.

That truck was sick. If I were able to keep the front tires on the ground (and I did experiment with custom wings on the front of the body), it probably would have hit 70mph. However, it would actually LIFT OFF at about 60mph. A cool sight to see, no doubt.

lol - i live and work in the greater detroit area. i don't even need to mention what could happen if i mess with the psychos around here.

a couple of years ago i was riding in my buddy's car late on a friday night, on one of the highways here. some guy got right on his bumper for no reason, and played a game of leap frog - he'd zoom up next to us, my friend drove faster, he'd pull back up next to us again, until finally i looked over and the guy had a gun pointed at us. for no reason!

Well, those who usually put trash on your car to drive you mad, are of the soft type, and they are driven by envy. There are those who scratch your car's body painting, destory your car's wind shield with a brick, steal your tires with their chrome rims, might even steal the engine itself and leave you there watching your lovely Lexus IS350 in a trashy condition.
My big bro's Mustang 93 endured a near similar destiny, back when it was purdy and shiny( it's not like I consider it a super fancy machine, but still, in America, at least, the Mustang is almost every young man's favorite ride).
My father got me a Toyota Innova( well, I chose it for the family's sake, although I wanted a Toyota Aurion) and almost every day I find a new scratch here and there.....my father told me that if I'm gonna take it to the body care center every time it's scratched by those bastards, it's better to leave it there forever and stop driving it.
So I guess we need to get used to this new type of life and find a way to get ourselves adjusted to it.

Really sorry to hear about the stolen truck, MetalMan. I'm glad BP could get the gum off. That's a very nice car!

I can't drive to school yet, but I might be able to this February. I really want a Mustang, but there is no way I could afford one. I will have to buy my own gas, insurance, and car, so I really think I'll be careful with it. I am really afraid that people will hurt my car, and I wouldn't be able to afford to fix it. I really dislike people that have no reguard for others and their stuff. They just think it is funny, and don't have a clue how the other people feel. I always try to think of the other person's situation before I do anything bad to them.

Good luck finding that guy. I would like to punch them myself, but I'm not really built for it.

Brijar!!!

Killing is becoming more like a habbit than a crime. Thanks to the movies, any ways.

Hey, this is funny, I will not be able to get my senior license until February. So, that really means no driving to school by myself until then. But, I recently got my first car, a '05 Mustang 5speed manual! I'm only 16 and was able to afford one(worked my a$$ off), gas should be no problem either.(but will cut a little into the r/c fund!)

Bye

Hows this for idiots at work. Basically we have a thing called Summer Nats. Hundreds of done up cars turn up and drive around Canberra. So a bunch of dickheads decided to fill water pistols and spray guns with brake fluid. They were spraying cars with $20,000 paint jobs with brake fluid. Not the smartest thing to to especially when the town is full of rev heads who love these cars. I don't know what happened to them though.

:(. I'm so freaking excited though! For my 17th birthday, I'm getting a mustang GT! My wildest dreams are coming true! But after this thread I'm now worried.

something tells me neither do there family's!

you should jump the punk and put some chewing gum in his hair just the get the point across.

they really should look into changing the chemical make-up of chewing gum as its so horrible seeing gum stuck to pavements or sitting at a desk to get gum on you clothes its nasty stuff.

I have to agree with Captain. We all in some way drive a vehicle we love. It doesn’t matter what it is or how old it is. If it’s yours and you like it who cares. It’s my thinking why own something your not willing to drive. I live in an area way above my financial status. I got lucky on a home buy. My neighbors are the type of guys who own Lotus’s, Porsche, and many other sports cars. The only time I see them is on Saturday morning when ever last one of them is out washing and waxing. They never drive them. They are all garage queens. WHY???? I am not of the mind to buy a vehicle to let it sit. I take my 2000 Jeep Cherokee Limited into places in the mountains that 4 wheelers dream of getting to. It’s my thinking “if you own it, use it.” My wife will not let me buy my dream car. I want a Dodge Viper. After spending $70K for it I would drop in $10K more for upgrades. Then I would drive the crap out of it. Every time I scratch my beloved Jeep up I get pissed. But it shows at least I use it. I am not wasting my money. If some one gets pissed because you drive a nice car shrug it off. They are really jealous of you. In the end a vehicle is only a vehicle. It’s all fixable. How much money do you drop into your RC’s? Yet you go and beat the hell out of them.

But I still say if you get the chance to catch the punk damaging your car beat his @$$!!!!
