E-Revo with tekno-RC and Neu 1515/1y - 01.07.2008, 02:27 PM

Hi,

i finished a few weeks ago my revo conversion using the tenkorc kit.
i used a neu 1515/1y in combination with a quark monster pro 125b.

the first runs were done with 4s Kokam H5 3200 Lipos - but with these Lipos i ran only about 10 min and had amp spikes till 70A.
I was able to do wheelies with this setup ( with installed cd ) if the slipper was closed.

eagletree data from the last run:

I was told that the lipos will get killed with these spikes over 20C
And that the minimal voltage is about 13.12V - which i find not ok :(

So i am looking for some new lipos - which would you recommend?

I also want to use them in series ( as 8s setup ) in my emaxx, which i gonna rebuild this year ...

Yes 18.5volts is realy to high for the MM ocntroler. The EVO25 can be purchased at RcMonster Store.
I use 14.8 volts EVO25, 5000mAh pack, and i can't tell you about run time, i don't ave the time to drain all this batt before winter. The day that my revo will be ready, lot of snow has fall outdoor, so i've to wait next summer for real test.
