That is pretty cool that you have the resources and skill to do that kind of work. Your work looks pretty impressive, but it is too bad that it takes so much time to get to that point. What kind of work do you actually do for a living? You have a talent that pays really good money in some markets. Thanks for sharing these with us, and keep it up. It is nothing like a photo, which most of these guys are hungry for, but still another prespective of our hobby that is appreciated in here.

Is that a Lexan chassis you got there? I really like the way SW renders, too. My high school shop used Autodesk Inventor so I just stuck with it. Plus, I know where to look.

Edit: Oh chassis template. I saw the double reflection and I thought it was clear poly.

chassis temp is basically the right length and width at the diff cases, and the front kickup is correct angle and length, but everything else is just approximate right now. I used the default polycarbonate material.
I've also got Inventor 9, but never installed it. but i've heard it's comparable to SW. and one of the tutorials for inventor has a nitro motor i believe if i remember correctly.

yeah, it is very tedious work, but it only makes the work more rewarding.. for a living, I'm a painter. We're currently painting conveyors at a UPS Air Hub. I really need to go to alot of school.. I don't have much chance of landing a good job without any college =\. I re-designed the heatsink on this processor: http://newertech.com/products/maxpower48.php , when I worked there, so I know I'm capable of doing the job like this, but most of the time, that's not what gets you hired. I'll definately keep you guys updated.
