I think it has been a long time since mike ran a feigao L in any racing setup.

I know he did back in the day, but that was years ago and he likely stopped using them cuz of the heat issues. Thats the reason we all upgrade eventually to the higher end motors. If the cheap motors ran cool there would be no need for the higher end Neu and Lehner and such.

My recommendation would be if you want to run a faster spooling motor than the XL and want it to run cool you should get yourself a higher end motor like a Lehner 1940. The Lehner will run stellar with the 9918 you have. The Feigao L cans will run the Emaxx, but I think you will have a heck of a time getting one to stay cool for 30 minutes of racing while doing it. Hell thats allot to ask for from a Feigao XL motor IMO.

I know its allot more expensive than the Feigao, but in order to run cool you need efficiency and the efficient motors come at a price.
