Having 2nd Thoughts...(Help Me Choose) - 03.02.2008, 09:30 AM

I was originally planning to get the Mini MGT but Im having 2nd thoughts. My bro is gonna be buying a Savage X 4.6 to convert to electric. I now want something equal in size or bigger. I was looking at the LST2 and the Cen GST 7.7/Nemesis. What one would you rather have? The cen has its ups/downs and the losi has its ups/downs. Im looking to run 5s with the MMM ESC and a possible Neu/Lehner motor. Any idea's?

Thanks

from what i understand, both will be bigger. lst 2 will out handle the savage, gst will run over the savage if you can get lucky and catch him.

I am going to convert later this year a XTM Monster MT. Its bigger then all the above mentioned and the weight didn't look to bad. I think around 13lbs.

I don't think you realize just how big the genesis is. It's HUGE. Infact, 5s may not even be enough for it without running too hot. I would def. Do the losi if those are your only choices.

If you go with losi, look at the aftershock, especially if you plan on converting it. amainhobbies has it for 309$ and they always have 25$ off coupons.

The aftershock is nearly the same as the lst2, and with the upgrade kit 100-120$, you can basically make it into a lst2, only with plastic shocks instead of aluminum. You can then spend the 300$ you save on other upgrades, or your electric conversion.

Worth taking a look.

+1 on the aftershock, no need to buy the lst2. You could also buy the raminator or the mega baja, one of them even has a dsm radio setup.
