As for the slipper mod and due to intending to keep the 1st gear of E maxx tranny, I would first try to tighten the stock slipper all the way. If that does not work well, then I will replace the 12 friction pegs with steel balls. You can use the new emaxx tranny's input shaft, and retain 1st and 2nd gear in the old tranny. The new shaft is setup for the revo slipper. Someone here did a writeup on how to do it. You may have to post a thread asking for a link. Don't waste time on the old slipper, it sucks, and nothing really helps it.
