That prolly be my choice I like to overpower everything but a 1521 in a revo would be alot of headache and a waste of alot money cause it would break every 10mins especially if ur goin to race it
It would be pretty hard on the revo, but breaking it and putting it back together is half the fun

Regarding the length, that is a good point. I hadn't even thought of that. I think I know the answer already, but is there any way to retain mechanical brakes with a 3905 tranmission swap? I haven't gotten a revo roller yet so I cant see how all that works (only ever had electric also). If it was possible though, I'd think that should pretty much solve the length issue by getting the motor away from the arms... But I guess it would just be easier going with a more expensive esc than doing this also.
