Yes the E-Maxx is a 4X4 and it is shaft drive. So if you think about that when the motors drive the transmission the outpout shaft turns the front and rear diffs at the exact same RPM's. If you have wheels that are different diameters one set will run faster than the other. Thus causing strain on both differential gears that will eventually fail and probably also kill the transmission faster. So whatever wheels you install have to be of the same diameter so the rollout is the same on the front and the rear.
