Did he tell you how much it'd be around for a 10s one if he does end up making them?

No. He just said it could be done. I'll have to wait for his answer.

I'm also looking forward to one too . I've had companies say one thing now and when I'm ready to place an order change their minds. I'll keep everyone posted.

Nitro will never go away. There are just too many hardcore mechanics who love messing with the fuels and tuning engines. BL electric is here to stay for sure and with people like lutach who are hell bent on creating the ultimate HV vehicle that will just blow your mind, we will see miracles in the making. Technological breakthroughs that will amaze all of us. I have been watching R/C for a long time and I just got started a few years ago, but I will be here until I am no longer able to do what I enjoy. So hang on to your hats and lets party. We can all watch the nitro guys looking at us like what the F@($# is that blowing by my nitro? HA HA HA HA

Nitro won't last due to pollution laws constantly changing.

I was under the impression that 2 stroke motorbikes have been banned from racing in California because of some pollution law.

I know some guy's here in Aust that were racing 2 stroke motorcross & were told to lose them & go for fourstrokers. One guy kept racing till they came down hard on him for using it then pulled out of racing all together.

Correct me if I'm wrong about California though.

A nitro engine is a very high polluter.

Doubt It. - 05.17.2008, 09:29 AM

If you took all of the exhaust from every R/C vehicle on the planet I doubt that it would amount to much more than one or two real size vehicles in polution. Yes we all have to do our part to protect this planet, but R/C is such a minuet part of the problem. Tree huggers!!! If they DO NOT have the tree's premission, is that considered RAPE. Sorry I just had to ask. Seriously do you really think that we would see the end of fosil fuels in our lifetime. No way... Maybe after the next few generations, possibley. The oil barrons are too greedy right now to let that happen, and they have all of the money and the oil to keep it going.

There are a lot of guys running HV right now and I have learned a lot from them. I like to show people that HV set up is not only for high speed runs. It's just an added bonus for speed runs to have HV as more power can be acheived. Aveox had it right when they offered 3 ESC for us. I have most of them and the one that made me a fan of HV is the H160. It was much better then the early versions. When I get all this HV controllers here, I will show how they run in my bashing set up with 10S. I'm geared for around 40mph and I'll have a good comparison for my 6S set up with the same gearing. With 10S I'll only be switching the motor and I'll go with the 1521/1.5Y and with 6S I use the 1521/1Y. It should make things a little fair since I'm using the same size motors, but the 1521/1.5Y will be spinning a bit faster on 10S. I'm trying my best to get my controllers out soon and I have also asked Castle and Tekin for one as well.

Alright. Here is the answer I received from them:

"Dear Sir

Now I start to answer your questions as below:

1. Will you be able to program the following with the car software: 80A10S, 100A10S, 120A10S, 100A6S, 120A6S and 150A6S?

answer: We can change the program for the car software, and we are sure it will be work very well.

2. Will the controllers perform good with 4 and 6 pole slotted motors like a Neu Motor or a Mega Motor?

answer: I am not sure our products wether support the slotted motors at present,as I don't test the slotted motors, but I think we can solve the problem. We will send a sample for you a month later, if the sample cannot work with the slotted motor, you can send the motor to us, we will solve the problem.

3. Will the controllers include a program box?

answer: Yes.

4. Will the controllers have a heat sink and fan?

answer: Yes.

5. What is the warranty on the controllers if they fail?

answer: We have the warranty for the controllers."

Now only time will tell how the controllers will do.

Unfortunately you are dealing with a source which is half way around the world and there is somewhat of a language barrier. It is what it is. For the most part anything to do with them is going to be kind of a shot in the dark. They do sound as if they want to be helpful because customer service will make or break you. The key is opening the door and testing their controllers and then we can go from there. It will either work out or it will fall apart and we will move on to the next contestent. Lutach Your efforts are very much appreciated for leading the way on some of these ventures. Thanks for your support and enthusiasam. Way to go man.

Yes, that's why I'm not going to say much until the test unit arrives. As you can see from the e-mail answer I got, he's more then willing to help and he's the only one so far that really wants to do this. I would love to go to Asia and visit all the factories I want to visit, but I can't. I'm sure it would make things very easy. I hope the 6S and 10S controllers works.

He would only be a reseller of the product, not the manufacturer.

The manufacturing companies are virtually invisible to the world outside of China, you can generally only go through a reseller.

Unless you know someone.

Think about it for a min, if the resellers are selling stuff for cheap, how much are they getting it for??

How do I know? That's what I do.

I was supposed to be on my way to China (for the first time) on the 15th May, but, being sick, I wasn't allowed to fly.

For example, http://www.desire-battery.com/ these people are resellers of batteries.
