way OT here. there are too many self styled experts around in any forums. i never understood how there could be such a thing as 'smart experts' and 'dumb noobs' in rc-forums. all i see is users with less or more experience. words like 'educate' or 'god' or whatever are very suspicious to me. it makes me feel that some people think they have eaten rc-wisdom for breakfast. imo all you can share in forums is your assistance and experience. not more and not less.

i see that there could be high level theoretical discussions on a more formal level about some special fields in physics that apply to the rc world. not just some basic formulas but a real debate. however my feeling is that there are very few theoretical "experts" with a solid background (read somebody with at least a BA or MA in physics or a similar field) around in rc-forums. i can understand that fully. because i guess if i would really understand much of the 'background' things going on in my rc-model i would go crazy with all the trashtalking going on in rc-forums. so probably those guys prefer to stay out of such (annoying) discussions.

that leaves us with more or less mostly as beginners with just some degree of experience.

bye
