With the current settings I have the Monster programed at, 20% punch control and default throttle curve, the Quark was smoother on initial startup; maybe .5 of a second. After that, I'd say the difference is virtually indiscernible. Braking is where the big difference is. I found my Quark to have very coarse adjustability on the brakes. They either worked too good or did nothing and were very hard to control in air to effect the truck's attitude. The Monster, on the other hand, has awesome brakes. Good feel and excellent control on dropping the nose to come in steep after high angle jump face launches.
