tell your buddies to make a small cover/skid for theirs out of lexan on plastic. as pictured here (
http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/showthread.php?t=12218 ) it works wonders for keeping junk out of the spur gear. or have yall possibly looked at modding a b44 undertray to work on the ZX-5s? just a thought i was gonna look at this more on monday though, when i go to the track and can get ahold of brad B44.
btw cool idea with the air filter on the end of the nue motor, and the velcro on the deans plug to hold it inplace under the body
