How do I check if li-po batts still good after sitting for almost a year - 05.27.2008, 06:30 PM

What is the easiest way to check to see if the batts are still good. I believe I charged them before putting them away...can't remember. I tried to charge them and they only took 50 mah on a 1500mah 3s pack. Unfortunately, I don't have a vehicle to run them in to check them. My friend wants to buy them, but I cannot sell them to him in good faith w/ out seeing if they are still good.

If you discharge them down to 3v per cell and check how far it charges before it tops out that should give you a good indication of the packs condition.
