Linc I found the perfect setup. Its not only cheap its a good idea. Im going to run dual Ammo 36-56 1800kv motors. I had the 2600 and it was a brutal motor until it overheated powering my truggy by itself. That was just for kicks though. I think I have everything I need for this conversion set to buy.

Are you going to run them on 3s? Kv is a bit low, so motor speed will not be very good on 11.1v, plus you will need some big pinions to get any speed out of it. I would say that a pair of 9l motors will perform better on 3s than that ammo motor. The 2600 ammo would be ok, much better speed out of 3s. I had an 1800 ammo, and the feigao 15l outperformed it on 5s lipo. Plus the feigao ran cooler.
