I have the water cooled version sold by ETTI. Even without a big heat sink, it stayed cool. If only Castle would make a controller using those DPAK instead of the SO8 package MOSFETs. Here is a picture of the MOSFET side of the controller. It was taken by a nice guy from a boat forum.

I have no clue . It might be because of the BEC thingy there or maybe because it's water cooled. I just had to try it out and see if it was any good. I asked the person who sells the ETTI if they will have a car version, but nothing yet.

got any videos to show us how it runs? with the bec disabled and running on 5s would it last a couple months or more until they get the mmm worked out and shipping, we are having a big race in two weeks and i want to run the truggy and not the Ls10 so im getting desperate for a controller.

I got rid of my big one, and I don't have a proper rig for the smaller ones. Sorry!

How do you like it:

What are the brakes like on soft or hard mode?
Does it react quickly to changes in throttle input?
Any cogging or stuttering from a standstill?
Does it run cool?
Any noticeable quirks or issues?

Its not a bad option for 5s lipo, apart from the usual suspects.

Brakes are rather handy in a car or truck

Sounds okay, the smooth starts is quite important so thats nice to know.
