We have received many requests from our customersfor a Pivot Ball Steering System to satisfy their market.
The Pivot Ball front and rear end allows for more adjustments to satisfy all drivers driving styles.
We have developed a special high impact and more durable nylon with better wear properties for the steering knuckles.
This is only for the RTR, but they will have a conversion kit. Too bad no fix for the servo saver.

I guess they'll offer a PB conversion kit like DTX does for the buggy model Vendetta as an upgrade to the ST type suspension?? Sooner or later....

Will PBS be all that much better than a kingpin design? I tend to think of pillow balls popping out, but.... saves a lot of cnc upgrades tho

I like traditional c-hub/kingpin/whatever better. In my experience it's been more durable and smoother since it's meant to fit together perfectly without any adjustments (PBS has those caps that need to be tightened 'just right'). This is an upgrade I certainly won't be using.

It certainly looks like the PBS hub is stronger than the current c-hub and steering knuckle the .5 runs. I also like the look of the upper arm w/o the turnbuckle that is a constant bending problem with the current .5. I'll probably give it a try when the upgrade kit comes out.

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

10mm is the same size shock that comes on the original CRT5. They called them "big bore" on that box too.

Odd to see they went for the pillowballs instead of the Chub/steering knuckle.

I wonder what them made do the change..

Yah, it's pretty lame for them to call 10mm big bore when that is actually a bit smaller than my Losi 10th scale shocks for a vehicle that is at least 20% lighter. At least you can get 13mm big bore stuff, from other cars, pretty cheap for the crt.5. It takes away a bit of the sharpness in handling, but it is so much better on rough tracks it is well worth it.

honestly, i never had a handling problem with my .5, it seemed to be nice no matter how rough the track

Really? Mine seemed to bottom all the time out and bounce around alot. The BBores helped out quite a bit settling things down
