I really don't think people understand what an extra 20-25 degrees of ambient temperature do to these components. It makes a huge difference and I have no desire to stress my systems like that. I tried and it didn't work so spending the extra money is worth it in my opinion.

In summer I was driving my nitro in a car park and the tar was over 50c. I couldn't run it long before the engine was getting too hot for my liking. Tires were almost melting too.
