Well since the E-Warhead has sold "I think", I am putting money towards my Matrix to make it racable. What I need is quality components... I have a good enough 5s FP lipo for now but my main focus is on a high quality motor. I was browsing threw the Neu 1515's and stubled upon the 2.5d/f and the 2d "both finned". I was wondering what you guys think of me putting this in my truggy for racing. Would it be best suited for it and how well would it preform? I know for a fact Im getting the dust guard here off RCM and the Neu from Amain seeing that RCM is out of stock. Overall what should I expect? I will be running a Modded MM ESC with a 8capacitor board to keep down temps. I also plan to buy the RCM Matrix center diff mount. Overall what Im trying to ask is the 2.5d/f or 2d really worth the money?
I run one to in my ST - very happy. I would say though ATM i'd be inclined to wait.
The CC combo looks like it is at a very attractive price point... With some opening deals you will get a MMM and motor for the price of that Neu. Just a thought...
I do agree though with your approach of going for less cars and better parts...

Yep, I limited the field to (2) R/C's as of right now. Once I get them in top running shape Ill concider a few more.
7/15/5 in the diffs. And I run anywhere from 13/48 to 16/48 depending on the track. The big tracs get the taller gearing and small tracks get geared down for control. I usually run 14 at my regular track. It fast enough to be just as fast top end as the fastest nitros, and gives better runtime than 15 or 16. On the indoor track it gets a 13.
I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

I use 16/48 as well. I am thinking about changing my oil to 7/20/5, or even 7/15/5. Thanks for the info.
