Please let me know what you think of that motor when you get it Metalman, I am desperate to find out the quality/preformence.

I've had the motor for a couple weeks, but I'm just now tearing down my Savage to accept this motor. By Sunday night I should have a report on it .

I did put a rcm heatsink/clamp on it, and that seems to keep the temps around 140f. Even after 30 mins it is still around 140. I am geared for 42mph is memory serves me right. And I still use the stock tranny with the 2 speed, in fact that savage is about as stock as it gets.

Any idea how much your truck weighs? I would estimate mine at ~12lbs with 10s1p A123, although that is merely an estimate.

I would say that my truck should be similar weight to yours. You have a heavier battery, but lighter tranny, and i am the opposite. I can weigh it tomorrow and we will see..
