Theoretically, a motor can pull tons more than that. During stall, there is only the motor resistance to limit current. For example, a 7XL resistance is 0.0056 ohms. Using 4s lipo, that a theoretical 2,642A. So, your current will be somewhere between that and 0A. Of course your ESC, wires, connectors, batteries, etc will not maintain 14.8v at anywhere near those currents, but you get the idea. The more mechanical load you place on a motor will increase the starting current, so gearing, weight, etc plays a big role.
