Doesn't Castle already use something like this on their boards? I know for a fact that some kind of film is covering the board of my Max controllers.

Took apart my EVX2 the other day. It is filled with some kind of rubberized epoxy. Covers everything but the power button and heatsinks.
I think the MM boards might have some kind of coating on them. I had to solder the power switch points together and it seemed to have fried some stuff on the srface that wasn't flux.
