I ran the 1500 in my maxx and had heat issues on 6s. I had to gear down to 35 with it just to keep temps in check. It's a great motor but not enough for a monster truck in my opinion. I think asheck has better luck being a a more moderate climate. Temps in Houston right now are always high 90's to mid 100's so that could have been part of my problem.

Of course noting asheck's last sentence, the controller was the hardest to keep temps down on. This was all on an mgm 16018 however and I do plan to try it again once I get my MMM back next week. Right now I am sticking with the neu 1515/2.5d.
