Wondering alound here... One of my futaba remotes had an abs brake function. Basically it set the reverse/brake (minus throttle) to pulse the signal. It was funny, because if the esc was set to reverse it would pulse the signal and the car would speed up and down while in reverse.

Since the hv110 does not have proportinal brakes, maybe something like that abs function would work? The pulsing would slow it up without locking the wheels and causing flips, etc...
