Any plans for a removeable MM mount? - 08.13.2008, 07:39 PM

I'd like to swap my MM between my erevo and my hyper 7. Does anyone have any pics or ideas on how I can make this happen?

If you want mount everything to a 2" square piece of 1/8th lexan and then use industrial velcro on the back of the lexan to mount it up

Thanks guys. Velcro, heh. I don't know why I'm trying to over engineer stuff using steel plates, rivits, magnets, and snorkals.

all zip ties are removable... afaik.

the bigger they are the easier they are to remove... just use a screw driver or similar to hold down the small tab and pull :)

saved many zipties this way... perhaps im just a little too cheap :P

Velcro works well, but you'll probably need some expensive stuff to do it right. I picked up some Velcro at Walmart and it only lasted a few months before it stopped holding right and I had to zip tie it on. I got a pack of zip ties from Harbor Freight Tools for only a few dollars and it has a few hundred of them in there (plus they're colorful! :p). If you could find some of the zip ties with the little tab on them that you can press and release them that would be the best way to go, zip ties hold on really well.
