give it a week and a few cycles. that will surely tell you the outcome. if it still works after that, sick, if not then bad luck, and keep the good cells to replace another dud or something.
ryan -i should get my zippy 4800 pack in the next few weeks, does the lipo cutoff work or not?!

the cut-off measures total voltage not individual cell voltage so it was still above cutoff but one cell was below 3.0v (i like 3.2v just for this reason) So with a 5s you proly had it at 15.0v correct? I would at least set is to 16.0v to allow each cell more head room.

Sorry to hear about your bad luck. At least the battery situation is looking up. What truck is this in? I was wondering if you flipped the tranny??? Because if you flipped the tranny without flipping the diffs and motor direction it would want to loosen up the slipper nut. Check the way your spur is spinning. Lefty loosie righty tighty!

i had the wrong spur gear on it, the spring was riding on the spur itself, so it spun the nut off when it slipped.. putting the dual plate slipper back on instead of single remedied this

Nick, my cutoff was at 15.6

yeah that for me is still a little low. Especially on the cheaper packs that dont to seem to hold a balance as well.

yeah just figure 3.2v per cell. Think of it this way.... Better safe than sorry. Besides the run time you will loose by doing it will be very very minimal

I think you're probably fine. I've been lower than that and recovered without any long term issues that I could see.

BTW, holding voltage is no indication as to the integrity of the pack. You need to discharge them and see if the cell that went low discharges faster than the others.
