do you have a link to these lipos you have mentioned i cant find them
are they any good how many cycles do the take are there ratings true...
cheers mate

i also think an e baja is a great idea i would love to brushless up my mcd race runner maybe in the future one day has any one ever heard of plettenburg bl motors i have heard they make motors for 1/5 1/6 scale cars

QUOTE=tc3_racer_001;198774]the general consensus is that the ratings are bogus and they are overpriced. check out the zippy-r, where a 4800 3s lipo is less than $60, 25C.

you can PM Lincpimp he he did extensive testing with Maxamps packs and he could share some info with you...I would go with Zippys or True RC packs if you want to go cheap, or if you have the money a pack with Enerland cells, (Polyquest, Flightpower/Trakpower/Thunderpower, Neu)

links

zippys
you want the "R" cells

If you go high end cells anything made with enerland cells is top notch: Thunderpower, Flightpower, Trakpower, NeuEnergy, etc. Then there are also polyquest cells which I have heard nothing but good about.

you can go to Neus site but they dont up date thier site very often and they might say they in in stock but they are not and than you will have to wait weeks before you will get them instead of going someplace else which have them in stock. Mike does stock them
