just siply drill holes in the side of the case as much as you can, it wil easily drop temps by about 30f, it helps cool the bottom brain board which has more fets on it, the heat builds up and has no where to go

I would like a little more explanation before I start to drill like where exactly and how deep and size bit. I do not want to kill my MM. I think this may solve my thermal issues!!!
Aaack! Don't drill without taking it apart! There are two screws that hold the ESC to the case. Take them out and drill your holes....I will look for a pic.
This is from a buggy I no longer have, but a good example. I like to put the fan opposite the caps so the air blows through the case and over the heatsink.

Hey BG! I couldn't make electric day, but nitro day was bigtime fun. Qualified 6th in truggy and 2nd in monster truck. Holy crap, that track was blown out! The last race of the day was the 10-minute MT A-main. I took it very easy and won that race just by keeping it wheels-down.
we all got whooped by nitros lol, in buggy and truggy class, the truggy guy was awesome tho! i qualified 3rd truggy and 4th buggy, finished 4 outta 5 in truggy god i sucked! all ran well tho with no problems, thats always a good thing
