MBX-5 finish - 08.24.2008, 07:19 PM

Well I finished my second brushless project today! It a mbx-5 with a mamba max, madusa 36-60-2000, on 4s2p. My gearing is 11/46 a good bit short of where i want to be but i had temp problems with my first build so I thought I would start off small. The body will get so mods soon because the batteries don't fit well. The thing is going to be a rocket once i get the gearing figured out. NEED A BIGGER SERVO! I put in a 135oz. one just to get it down the road a ds 1015 should be on its way shorty.

I know I need pics. but moms got the camera!
I'll have them up tomorrow, hopefully.

Tell me what you think!

Tyler

Nice to see another Mugen mbx-5 here. I haven't seen too many. Here are a couple of pics of my second conversion. (Redid first attempt to clean it up )

I am running a 9xl right now...but my 1512 1YF just came back from repair so it will be going in shortly after I receive my front Neu motor cover from Mike.

What batteries are those they look BIG! And do you find that the metal on metal makes a TON of noise?

Do those fit under the body OK? Or has it been modified?

Finally got some pics. taken. Sorry for the wait. I'll be cleaning up the wires once I get a chance to run it on a track.

Enjoy!
