thanks for the response chaps. i have decicded on the hardwire. i used gold plated sleeves for soldering them together and made sure the wires connected inside the sleeves. its as solid as yo can get. i made sure there were no gaps at all between the sires inside the sleeves. now the power source..lifepo4 or li-po...hmmm
