Yes, just get the rotors and see how it goes. I was also under the impression the wires were supposed to have a yellowish color as most high temperature magnet wires have it. I've had wires turn that shinny red color after they had heat issues and went bad.

Im not sure what color they are supposed to be . I dont want to buy a rotor if the can it's self is bad . I do know that when i picked up the car & the motor had no load on it there was no stutter in the motor . I dont know if that means anything .

I'll go open a couple of motors right now to see what color the copper wires are supposed to be. Give me a few minutes.

Go ahead and buy the rotor. All the Novaks I have checked uses the red colored copper wires. You just demagnetized your rotor as you stated it didn't cog like they usually do.
