The wheely king is small and light. I am sure the protek pack would be fine with that truck. Neuenergy, Hyperion, and Polyquest all use enerland cells.
The protek packs appear to be using chinese cels, similar to maxamps and truerc...
hey thanks. Well if the protek are crappy cells the I will probably go with something else. I still don't think it will draw a lot, but still a lot more than stock. My wheely king has a 13 inch wheel base and use clod size rims and tires. Gearing is low at 15/96 I believe. Now weight shouldn't be much different than stock other than the 1:8 lexan body and tires (which a lot more than stock derrer) I wish I had a scale and a motor tester. Do they even work on brushless like the one from muchmore. The thread was mainly to find out what cells these packs use but as u see I ramble on and wander alot. You answered my question perfectly except the tantric packs.
No idea what cells tantric packs have. I personally stick with enerland cell based packs, although I have a few truerc packs, and they have served me very well. 10th scale stuff just cannot load a lipo like a big 1/8 scale vehicle. What motor/esc do you plan to use, and what top speed are you going for? The heavier tires will place more load on the batteries...
neu packs use enderland cells so they are up the top of the performance specktrum. can i suggest looking at the zippies? in a light veichle they would be great and cheap too.
