I'll try to get some runs in at the weekend but have not had an issue with temps at all - I have it geared 18/46 on 2.8 for 2s at the moment - But also run 16/46 on 3s...

I need to hook up with Lutach for some speed runs on 18/46 4s...

With the Neu 1512, 3200Kv, in my slash, i'll use a 58T Jato spur with a 13T pinion, with proline badlands tire (4.8"), and i'll have (theorically) the same speed that i had with my feigao 10L, geared 54T/17T.
But i'am sure that the efficiency and heat will be different.

Another question, maybe for BrianG or other guys here, what does mean the Max Amps in the motor description. For exemple, for the Neu 1512, 1.5d, it's 135A.
For a 1512, 2.5d, it's 78A.
For a Feigao 10L, it's 61A.

I think that's the max current that the motor can support, but not sure.

Thank you!

Too bad, just see that i can't put a Neu motor in the stock slash tranny, Neu motor have a diameter of 40mm (smooth can) and Feigao have 36mm
The only way to put a Neu is to order the RCM FLM alloy tranny case...........................And that's what i just did

The only problem is that the rear bumper will not fit anymore

No. The FINNED can neu is 40mm. You'll be fine with the smooth can at 36mm.
