That lipo is a 25C pack, right? If so, it should work without a problem. A 20C 5000 mAH lipo would work, but it would get strained a bit under heavy loads (proper gearing and it probably wouldn't be an issue).

it does better than move a 1/8 buggy ok. i have that motor on a Losi 8 and it flies at 50+ mph. if i gun it the thing will wheely right over. however, this is with a 4s. i use losi's new 4s battery. 25c i think. perfect combo in my opinion. max rpm with the 4s is right about 40k rpm if i recall. that motor can handle 60k rpm.
