The calculator is simply a useful tool to aid you with a setup, it is not the end all be all.
I've gps'ed it at 42 (41.6 actual).. lol that is what I was telling you. I said it did this speed you were the one arguing. The calc numbers were just to prove the point.

The calculator doesnt take into account motor choice and power output- the user must decide that first. You use the calculator purely to determine your gearing with your chosen motor to reach a realistic desired speed. You just need to know which motor and what voltage before hand...

Yes the 1515/1y will work. I have that in my E Revo. On 6S with 62/22 gearing this Revo hit 61.7 mph GPSed 3 weeks ago.
