I don't want to hijack the discussion on this thread of the RC18 steering but it's all been done and said so many times before. I think RC-Universe has some better discussions than here on 1/18 because there are parts of the forum just dedicated to the mini's and things BL here tend to be a bit larger scale.

IMO - the RC18 is a great little buggy/truck and I had one for easily 1 - 2years, but ultimately the steering issues, the developing slop issues and the leaking shock issues just got the better of me and I got the XRay M18T - maybe a little more expensive in the beginning but I have not had to replace a single part in 2 years, there is no steering slop, the shocks are awesome and the steering design is really impressive.
