We clocked the car at 75, but the tires blew off!! The tires were checked and reglued before the run still they lasted about 6 passes or so. I have heard that IMEX is coming out with some MT foams for 17mm hubs. However, if you discover a secret to get them to work consistently, PLEASE SHARE!!

Did you buy the preglued ones? They are notorious for blowing off the rims.

I always scuff the tire with a dremal untill the shine is gone . this will help give you a better bond when you glue them . I have also found that thin glue works the best . I wash new tires with simple green first . Then i do the dremal thing . Then i clean both the tire & rim with brake cleaner . You have to get all the mold release off the tire for a good bond .
