Sounds good. A little background for everyone else.

I am currently running a novak xrs with a 13.5 motor in my cr-01 tamiya crawler. It is a bit of a fast setup, but it is geared as low as possible, and has very good low speed driveability, plus about 10mph top speed. So it is fun to play with, and plenty capable when crawling.

I would like to run a 21.5 motor on 3s, but want to keep the sensored design. Novak does not make any escs that can handle 3s lipo. I may also try a 17.5 motor as it would have the same rpm on 3s as my 13.5 does on 2s.

I will test the esc to see how it does in the crawler enviorment...

Sounds good lincpimp. My sensored ESC will handle 3S lipos and you don't need an external BEC. I used 3S lipos in my drag bike and I used the ESC's BEC and it worked fine.

The drag bike had my own 100A sensored ESC, 5.5T sensored motor and 3S 2200mAh 25C pack. Here are a few pictures of the bike that I raced (Video will be added after it's done processing ):
