If you are going thru all the trouble to attach the wire to the rec, why not just add the shrink like I did and re-route the wire. The fan plug on the pcb has plenty of clearance with the bottom case now, unless the pcb breaks in half the fan plug will not touch. The fan wire is the only problem I see now. All of mine will be modded like this, and I expect them to work fine.

also, just switch the esc off and on. if the fans spins again on startup then its fine, if not then time to investigate? or just use a pocket temp guage!!

So this is still an issue. Ohh well, honestly as long as the speedo works, I cant complain. For the price, and everything about the MMM. Its worth it (to me)

Nice to see they kept the bullet plugs!
