Arct1k had a couple of the cc/neu motors and was happy with their performance, get ahold of him for more specifics. I went with a Tekno Neu 1515 2.5d and a MMM. Originally wanted a Tekno 1515 1Y but they where out and I wanted to run my REVO. After some pondering and asking on here I decided I would run the 2.5d on 4s and see what happens. On 4s the motor did ok, honestly not a bad racing setup for MT, would gear up to high 30's and keep things cool, except my MA packs. Now that I have a 6s setup and geared it appropriatelly it's crazy!!! Also everything stays cool, including my neuenergy lipos, The fan on the MMM didn't kick in, I could hold onto the motor indefinetlly, and the Lipos where at 95*, didn't get to temp everything, just the lipos.

Basically it's your call! If you want to wait till CC releases the combos I'm sure they'll be great. I personally wouldn't run the 1y(2200kv combo) on anything over 4s though, they say you can run 6s. If you want more than 4s and cool temps your going to have to go to with a different motor, a genuine Neu, Medusa, or similar.

i run the 1515 1.5D 2700kv on 5s and my motor never gets above 120*. this is with a fan mounted on the Tekno motor mount though. i have seen many in this forum run the 2700kv on 6s without any troubles either. so you could definitely go more than 4s on the 2200kv.

Just my opinion! Also what is the sense in spending $260+ for a high efficiency neu and then slap a fan on it? IMHO if a Neu needs a fan on it....you need a bigger Neu for the job. That brings me to the next point. Running a 2700kv or 2200kv on 6s in a buggy is a lot different than in a truggy or MT
