I ran a 1515 1.5d in my erevo racing truggies on a 4s system nearly all summer w/o any fans and no heat issues. It is more than enough ANY truggy or similar sized MT and w/o a fan.

U said it yourself here though, 4s! I'm sure they do well on 4s, lots of power and cool temps. But on 6s I bet things get a bit warm, maybe not hot but warmer.

Revonut,
you said it best..."just my opinion" thats all it is from my end too. not criticism. besides, the fan is for precuation, not necessity. and i run the 1512 1.5D 3300kv on 4s and 5s (1512 1.5D on 4s/5s in losi buggy and the 1515 1.5D with 5s/6s in truggy) without any issues. fan or not. just stating the facts according to my experience to help the guy that started this thread....not to argue with you.
