do i really need a 2.4ghz for the mmm combo

some have good results with the TQ...i had HORRIBLE results.

I think the 2.4 is a good insurance and it takes a worry out when you have more than one truck running. Dont have to worry about what the other guy is running. PLus, most 2.4 systems have a failsafe system and cool little thingy mabobb features to fiddle with

I have had ok luck with the TQ systems. Seem to run ok with my vxl rusty, but did not do as well in my bl emaxx. What finally did it for me is when it got a little far Maybe 75' and it just shot into my neighbors driveway and almost hit his brand new $30k car. The emaxx just shot off at full speed on a glitch. Ever since I got my 2.4ghz radio I havent had any issues. Look at it this way, its cheap insurance.
