velcro on MMM - 12.17.2008, 06:13 AM

Hi,

im thinking about gluing one side of velcro on my MMM and the other side on my e-revo to hold it on. will i void any kind of warranty on the MMM by doing this?

does anyone know what velcro i should buy? i went on the velcro website and there are so many different types!

thanks

always back up your velcro or 2 sided tape with a zip tie. The forces created will rip the mmm right off most velcro and tape. it won't void the warranty

I tried everything to get my MMM to stay down. eventually cut out a square of the bottom sticker and Ca'ed the velcro to it. no problems yet :)

I tried the velcro but in a hard hit it would come loose , so I hot glued mine down. So far so good! The good thing about the hot glue is that when I need to take it off it will peel off or hit it with a hair dryer and it will melt off! My only issue now is that the case pops open some times after a big jump

I used some industrial plastic velcro that i got from a freind, 20lbs/in the adhesive that came with it sticks well to aluminum but not so great to plastic-I ended up Ca'ing the velcro to the mmm case(cut a square out of the sticker)
