1Y on 4s in the 8T is perfect, but I like more, I run it on 5s as I just bash.. 40s on the 8t may be a bit much. Some lightweight regular max size wheels is plenty. 40s would work if fine thats your ambition but then its kind of monster truck muggy~ish, the drive train wont break, but it may make it stress the motor etc. and be a bit heavy for jumping.. JMO
