Steve looks great so far. Is that a mugen mbx 4 or 5 ?. Have you seen mine ?. The thread is titled hippies bl mbx4.

Steve what motor is that ?.

That is a 4. The motor is an old Aveox 1412/1.5 turn. The motor still maybe changed. Yes I have seen the hippie and I hope mine comes out as nice as yours.

nice setup. Im not suprise if urs does. How u gunna setup ur batts? Hippi style?

Speaking of batteries how many cells are you running?


The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

Steve were did you get the motor mount, & what center diff is that ?.

Are you going to run lipo's or regular batts ?.

Looks great!

You really need a hardened pinion on that motor, the normal MOD1 gears will be shredded within 2 runs.

Where are you going to drop your batteries?

here is the conversion of a HB lightning Pro i did.

Hippie, I designed it and my friend cut it with a wire for me. The diff I am not sure, but it has MBX carved into it.

Serum, where do I get the right pinion? I am either going to run a 4s4p 2500 tanic pack or a 6s4p 2000 TP pack and change out the motor.

I changed the spur tp a plastic one. Mike has got all the pinions i use.

I haven't had much luck finding a hardened pinion either, you should try to make an adaptor plate to mount oine of the ofna 51t plastic spurs, like hippie did.
