you should totally have Mike make you a battery tray. i saw in another thread that he said he can literally make any size tray you want. he is only limited on it being 1" high sidewalls. but as far as length and width there are no limits. you could have a tray that runs the whole length of your chassis and fits both batteries. also it would be grooved for your velcro straps. it would look much nicer and work better and probably only cost you about $50. just put in your dimensions on the site where you can order custom size trays.
