If running the gen1 maxx mount plate, you'll probably want to get the smooth finned Neu or grind down part of the fins of the finned Neu to have enough clearance. Or, just get a Medusa. I assume you have the steel idler in the tranny? If not, you're gonna need it.

If you're only looking for 35-40mph top speed, the 1515 is good. A 1521 would allow you to gear higher if you wanted higher speeds.
