i had problem with BL motor bottoming out on trani and just went with larger(more teeth) pinion gear...up from 16t to 18t solved the problem!!

Yeah...unfortunately going up a couple of teeth doesn't buy me much. I need a larger spur. Last year I switched out all of my strobe slippers for the revo spec slipper due to the availability of (or lack thereof) strobe slipper pads. My problem is that revo spurs only go up to 40T...so I'd need to use a 25T pinion...which really isn't safe to do because of the load it would put on the electronics. I am going to try the MGT mod and see how that works. I also have sent mike an email to see if he could make me an aluminum adapter put that would allow me to use 51T Ofna gears with the revo slipper.

i have tons of slipper pads if you need a couple sets?

I appreciate the offer but my strobes are long gone. I just wanted to switch when the supply stream started to dry up.
