Patrick,
Do you know how far out these 1800kv motors are, and if they will be available in the combo? 6s bashing sounds perfect to me...

Thank You Sir.
Sean

Think ima just say the heck with 5s and run it on a fat 4s pack,..seems to be the way to go with a 2200 combo anyways, plus it will live longer. Then scoop up an 1800 later and convert that Mutilator into the Defacator !

Sorry, I thought it was simply a typo and was giving you a bit of crap. "C" refers to the amount of current a pack can deliver and a multiplier of the capacity. So, a 15C 5000mAh battery can deliver 75A (15 X 5000mAh). When we talk about the number of series cells, we use "S". You were talking about a 4S pack. Incidentally, some packs also have a "P" value, which is the number of parallel cells. Like in 5s2p has a total of 10 cells, 5 series connected sets of 2 parallel cells.

No offense man, just some harmless fun.

Rubbish, kill the noobs!

My birthday is the end of march, any chance we will be seeing these 1800kv motors before then- have money, will spend it gladdly. I will also happily betatest them in the UK, far away from prying eyes...

In my mbx5t with a mmm 2200 combo, they laugh at that setup.Really run cool and the power is awesome geared 14-46.They run about 10 degrees above ambient, and I tried a lot of set ups and couldn't phase them after about 20 runs with a bunch of on-off throttle and flat out speed runs.I always balance charge them and at first they wouldn't charge up to 21 volts. But after a couple charges they have settled in nicely. The last run, fully charged,I got 15 mins run time and still had over 18 volts reserve. Money well spent Forgot to mention I tried all the suggestions here to cool my motor down and the thicker center diff fluid did the trick ! Thanks Sammus. And all who responded My mbx5t is a real bad azz truggy now and most of all is fun and SAFE to run.
